There was an added abundance of superstars in attendance at Tuesday morning’s training camp practice – WWE superstars to be exact.

Members of World Wrestling Entertainment: MVP, Kofi Kingston and Tiffany all attended camp on Tuesday as they were in the Bay Area to tape an upcoming episode of the WWE show Smackdown. With the trio attending camp it was difficult to tell who was more excited, the wrestlers or the 49ers. Continue reading »

Vance Archer & Curt Hawkins def. MVP & JTG
They say anything can happen on “WWE Superstars” and that was certainly true tonight as the singles match between Vance Archer and MVP erupted into a wild tag team brawl. The wildness started when the aggressive Curt Hawkins attacked The Ballin’ Superstar on the outside of the ring and JTG ran down to even the score. Although this would regularly lead to a No Contest, SmackDown General Manager Teddy Long decided to turn the match into a tag contest. Unfortunately for MVP & JTG, this decision did not work out in their favor as they were bested by the impressive young team of Archer & Hawkins.

MVP def. Jack Swagger
Jack Swagger complained to the WWE Universe about his many misfortunes over the past two months, MVP interrupted to inform the former World Champion that no one cares about his problems. Swagger responded by hitting The Ballin’ Superstar with a microphone, paving the way for a brutal attack and a match between the two Superstars. As “The All-American American” was attempting to apply his treacherous ankle lock and end things on a painful note, The Franchise Playa countered, allowing him to pick up the quick pinfall.

The Straight Edge Society def. MVP, JTG & Chris Masters
Though officially part of the Six-Man Tag Team Match, CM Punk opted to let Luke Gallows and Joey Mercury handle the bulk of the battle. While each Superstar looked impressive in his own right, it was a devious kick from The Straight Edge Savior from outside the ropes that caught an unsuspecting MVP off guard, setting Gallows up to finish off The Franchise Playa’ with a devastating boot to the face.

MVP made a short appearance on Lopez Tonight on August 4th, as part of their “You Don’t Know Me” segment. You can check out the video above!
